B Corps (Benefit Corporations) are a community of over 6,000 companies worldwide, all on a mission to prove that businesses can do good for people, the planet, and still make a profit.

Each organisation must pass a thorough assessment that looks at the whole business not just what it sells, across five key areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers.

The certification process required us to reach a benchmark score of over 80 by showing solid evidence of our responsible practices, from how we manage energy, waste, and water to fair pay, inclusivity, and keeping everything transparent.

Achieving B Corp certification is a significant milestone to us, highlighting our dedication to balancing profit with purpose. This certification represents our adherence to the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

Our journey has always been guided by three core values: sustainability, craftsmanship, and community. We are proud of our handcrafted furniture, made to order in West Sussex, and of the steps we have taken to minimise our environmental impact. We couldn’t have achieved this without the dedication and hard work of our team, of whom we are incredibly proud.

While we celebrate this accomplishment, we acknowledge there is still much more to do. We remain fully committed to continuous improvement, striving to strengthen our sustainability efforts and create a positive impact on our community and the environment.
