Our garden furniture is handcrafted to order in our West Sussex workshop, using solid wood and traditional techniques.

We embrace the natural character of the timber, preserving unique grain patterns, gentle saw marks, natural splits and softly sanded edges — details that make every piece unmistakably individual and part of our signature style.

We offer a wide range of sizes and colour finishes, allowing you to tailor each piece to your outdoor space. Need a bespoke size? Please get in touch - our furniture can be designed and built to suit almost any requirement.

For ease and longevity in everyday living, all pieces are supplied with height-adjustable feet to accommodate different patio & flooring types.

We include all fixings required, along with a clear instruction booklet and step-by-step installation video, ensuring assembly is straightforward and stress-free.

Each piece is supplied flat-packed for ease of delivery and is designed to be assembled simply and securely.

Assembly typically takes around ten minutes. As with all handcrafted furniture, natural variation in colour and texture is part of the finished piece.

Every piece is made from carefully selected solid timber, chosen for its grain, texture, and natural character. Variations such as saw marks, splits, and softened edges are part of the material and are preserved by design — no two pieces are ever quite the same.

Caring for your furniture is straightforward.

We recommend either keeping your outdoor garden furniture inside or under cover during the winter months to further protect the timber. We recommend sanding back any rough surfaces & applying a coat of Osmo oil every year to keep you furniture in tip top condition.

All of our furniture is handcrafted in our West Sussex workshop using timber sourced exclusively from sustainably managed forests. Every board is kiln dried to ensure long-term stability and finished by hand to suit everyday use.

We use an Osmo Oil Natural Woodstain finish on all our Outdoor Garden wooden products.

• Contains active ingredients to protect against mould, algae and fungal attack.

Our timber is kiln-dried, which greatly reduces the likelihood of excessive movement. However, due to the thickness and solid construction of our furniture planks, splits will occur during hot summer temperatures.

It's important to note that wood is a natural material and naturally expands and contracts with changes in weather.  This characteristic is common in all solid wooden products of this size. Rest assured, the structural integrity of our furniture remains unaffected, and any splits that occur will naturally shrink as the weather cools down.

To address any potential sharp or splintered edges that may arise in extreme temperatures, we offer furniture care packs. These packs allow you to easily sand down any rough surfaces and ensure the furniture maintains its pristine condition.

Regardless of any timber movement, we recommend the regular practice of sanding rough areas and applying a protective coat of Osmo oil annually. This simple maintenance routine will keep your furniture in optimal condition for years to come.

Additionally, we advise safeguarding your outdoor garden furniture during the winter months by either storing it indoors or under a waterproof cover. These precautions will offer further protection to the timber, ensuring its longevity.

Our Outdoor Garden Furniture is simple, unique and stylish. We have created our own rustic modern styling that is functional, timeless and easy to install.

Each product is available in various sizes, allowing you to create the perfect space for family and friends to enjoy. Supplied in flat-pack form, assembly is easy and takes around 15 minutes. Our furniture is also just as easy to disassemble, giving you ultimate versatility when moving house or redecorating. This is especially useful at the end of the summer when packing away the outdoor furniture.

We spend time developing our wooden products and packaging. Every product created always has to tick 3 boxes: Quality | Functionality | Sustainability... And yes it goes without saying all our furniture has to look amazing too! This has become the foundation of Ben Simpson Furniture! You can be sure that every product you receive has been designed and built with these elements in mind!

• Delivery is free on UK mainland orders over £50

• Our furniture is handmade to order. For accurate, up-to-date lead times, please check our Delivery page.

• Need it quicker? You can select one of our Fast Track options at checkout (if available), which prioritises your order in our workshop queue.

• If ordering with an item from another collection we’ll send them together once everything is ready.

• UK deliveries are handled by Royal Mail or Parcelforce.

• All Orders placed outside of UK Mainland may be subject to longer lead times and a delivery charge - Calculated at checkout.

• If you’re not completely happy with your order, you may return it within 30 days. No complicated process, no hard feelings.
